Besides the beauty, the Bach has a happy ending.

First time I've heard Gould's interpretation of this piece. The stacatto at first a bit annoying until I found in it a childlike happiness. Wonderful.

Echo the neti pot comment from Ms. Tillston. It works, most importantly, as preventative measure.

You teach how to really see / hear things with your comments; I'm a better person for them.

Bach, and if that doesn't work try watching a sumptuous period drama from bed. You could also try using a neti pot. Google to find out what this is if you don't know already (it's fluid... just going in a different way). I suspect I may have stoked my reputation as a wierdo by coming out as a neti pot user.

Fantastic! I loved the Bach as well.

My father's cold remedy was similar, yet different:
To the hot water, honey and lemon, add four whole cloves (to soothe sore throat) and a generous dollop of Scotch whiskey. If you need help getting to sleep, make that two generous dollops of Scotch whiskey.

Omit the tablets. Keep the Bach.
